Cursor seems off while typing with OpenDyslexic Chrome Extension on Google Doc

Love the font and Chrome Extension, it really helps our students. We are having a small issue while typing with the OpenDyslexic Chrome Extension on a Google Doc.
It appears that the Cursor is off a little and messes with the flow, deleting is a little difficult too. I have attached a screenshot below. Otherwise there is no issue, it is just with Google Docs.
